Okay, I have finally decided to buy a better amp then my squier amp.

The music I usually play ranges from jazz to heavy metal
For tone, I'm looking for a fat clean tone (for jazz) to a Metallica-like tone (the heaviest tone would be Pantera/System of a Down-like tone)
I'm also going to be gigging too (cuz im in jazz band and a heavy metal band)

My budget is also a bit below $320

Some choices I have are:

http://www.guitarcenter.com/Crate-FlexWave-Series-FW65-65W-1x12-Guitar-Combo-Amp-481058-i1175927.gc

If there's a better choice, please recommend it

Thanks for helping.

get a cheap marshall... my MG15DFX has a button that simulates the sound of one of the expensive tube marshall amps.

If you wanna gig, you really gotta save your money. The best I can think of in your range is a Crate V50, but I don't know if the cleans are quite dark enough for jazz.

If all you had to go on was the forum you'd think a Decimator could cure noise caused by dodgey stage lighting and restock the ocean's population of sperm whales
