I heard that using the fx loop kills your overdrive channel. Is this true? I have to go by what I hear because no one friggin stocks these anywhere near me.

Who did you hear that from?
I've lurked here for a solid year and a half and never heard of that.

If that be the case...I so totally want one! It would be so good for my pedal board preferences.

i doubt thats true, he probably wasn't using it right or something. if it was a problem with all peavey classic 30s you'd hear about it more considering how popular they are on these boards

I got an FX loop in my Classic 50 and it hasn't hurt my overdrive one bit. Actually putting the delay in there improves the sound.
