Hey guys,

Having a bit of trouble at the moment getting a large enough solo boost out of my rig.

At the moment, i'm using the TT clean & mic'd (small clubs = no cranking), with the OCD as an OD...the TS-9 is acting as a solo boost (Level max, Gain/Drive 0).

Would a clean boost satisfy my needs, or would a volume pedal be more suited?

Thanks in advance for any contributions.

I was thinking that, however the best reputed on the market (MXR 10-band) offers 16dB of boost....whereas the OCD apparently offers 20....and if that didnt work previously then i doubt the EQ would?

Don't know really...

crank the gain on the TS-9 up a bit, thats what i do when using my tube screamer as a boost and it sounds good
