I'm making a guitar with floyd rose.

2 questions

Can I have my neck angled back (neck not the headstock) or does it have to be straight

and What is the required body thickness if I want to divebomb/pull up to the full of the floyd rose's ability? - does the piece of metal the springs attach to move much?

for the thing that is below the body top, does that go down when i divebomb, or does it stay the same depth?

I can only answer the first: No

If you angle your neck you would somehow have to make sure the bridge is so far up from the body so it lines up with you neck angle... It's a no go.

Necks are angled back all the time. With T-O-M bridges, it's quite common. Dunno about with a Floyd.

It's usually only 2 degrees or so, but angled necks are everywhere. It's just not at a sharp enough angle for you to notice.

if someone is building a hardtail or has a TOM does the neck have to be angled? When is it necessary and when isn't it?
#7
You can angle the neck if you use a floyd, but only if you don't recess the bridge.. Otherwise no need.

It is necessary with a non-recessed TOM. Normal hardtails dont require an angled neck, i believe.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

no, for a floyd rose it means it's fully floating, and it isn't ridiculously high above the face of the guitar.
