im buying a new amp!
The only requirement is that it has to be tube amp!
The gain should go up to hard rock.. it doesn't necessary have to do metal.
so halfstack or combo! recommend me plz.
for combo i came up with traynor ycv50blue.. it got some nice ods!
i don't know about the stacks.. recommend me some.. in the $700 price range!
(head and cabinet)
which one will sound better?

well if your price range is in the 700's your not gonna find a really good tube half stack. unless your playing really huge gigs, a nice 2x12 or 4x10 combo should be fine

have you looked at the peavey valveking series. i know their not the best but their tube and have a decent sound to them.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU GO TO YOUR LOCAL GUITAR SHOP AND TRY OUT B-52!!!

It is probably the most underrated amp brand in the world. There mainstream and most popular stack is the AT100 (Only 600$!).

http://www.guitarcenter.com/B-52-AT-100-AT-412-100W-Tube-Guitar-Half-Stack-481188-i1320777.gc

Almost everyone that I have spoken to agrees it is a "poor man's Mesa".

But if u do end up getting the AT 100 ull only have around $100 left for a cab.

So try out their tube combos

I have and LOVE this one:

here is the other one

ALSO LET ME LET U IN ON A LITTLE SECRET:

Guitar center puts all their merchandise late towards the end of the DAY BEFORE BLACK FRIDAY!!!!

I got My tube combo amp that i showed u above for only $300 late on that day and saved around $250-200!! (before thanksgiving dinner of course)!!!! (plus i obviously paid $100 more for the extended warranty with all the money i saved!!). So you might want to play the waiting game, who knows maybe if u wait u can spend $700 (or maybe less) on the AT 100 head AND A CAB!!!

whats the sound difference? is the stack just louder? lol
my original argument was:
peavey classic 30 vs vox ac15cc1 vs traynor ycv50blue vs traynor ycs50
well i'm no leaning toward to the vox so take that out!
whats the difference between the ycv50blue and the ycs50?
which one?

I think half stacks sound better than combos personally, but I also don't think that with your budget that you can get a better head and cab than you can a combo. So yeah, go with the combo.
