what is every1s opinion on this amp coz im considering buyin wither a 50 or 100 watt avt. i want this amp coz i wouldnt be able to crank a valve amp so i want a gd solid state amp. is there any other god solid state amps i should consider.
i use an epiphone les paul and i play usually hard rock like gnr but sumtimes play some metal like metallica

AVT50 sounds ok but it has really bad clipping problems at any volume above 4.

AVT100 has tone problems.

You don't need to crank a tube amp to get great tone. Any tube amp in your budget would crush the AVT tonewise, at low volumes.

Yeah, any tube amp, loud or soft would kill the avt in terms of tone.

It all depends on what your looking for.
