Anyone have Good/Terrible local bands near them?

My Contribution

I'm very ashamed to say that they live a few miles away from me.

Note- "Jam Song" is probably the worst one on their site, you may want to give that a listen.

The only good band that really comes to mind is Awful Waffle. They're a Ska band from New Jersey and they're pretty good.

Because everyone from that town is an egotistical queef bag.

And they actually had the balls to start a fight with one of my friend's band, saying how bad they were. Oooh the irony.

Is it just me or are they actually like eleven.

There are quite a few good bands here in southern New Jersey, but there are also a pretty big number of bands that are complete garbage.

It couldn't fail any harder than any of their other songs.

And, Yes Tona, they do look like they're eleven. The fat singer makes me giggle maniacally every time.

I actually know them in real life. They're pretty good, although the recording on their space right now is pretty bad (they were only a band for 2 days when they recorded it).

www.myspace.com/samspermission - Best friend is the drummer.

www.myspace.com/drbuff - Friends with Sams Permission. Great bunch of guys.

www.myspace.com/newempiresound - The lead singer plays an HH tele through an MG...and it sounds awesome believe it or not.

www.myspace.com/playjerise - Great acoustic guys.

So it's pretty obvious there's a fair bit of talent around me. There's a lot of great band nights too.

One of the few good bands from my town. The drummer is actually a family friend, I guess our dad's had a friendly good old fashioned bar brawl back in the day. Anyway, they're pretty awesome. If anything, listen to Sands of Time, it's pretty much their anthem.
