Ok, so I just found my Kingston V-2 which was lost in the attic for a while, and all the tuning machines were broken so i ripped em off. It's all banged up, but I dont want to pawn it or anything because it looks pretty and the neck is massively comfortable. However, i DO want to slap some new machines and strings (duh) on it. But while I'm at it, i want to customize it a bit more, but i'm drawing a blank.

any ideas on what I should do with 'er?

hmm. maybe bring it into a shop? If it's not made of solid wood then it might not be worth investing in though.
Equipment:
- Art & Lutherie Cedar CW (SOLD! )
- Martin D-16RGT w/ LR Baggs M1 Active Soundhole Pickup
- Seagull 25th Anniversary Flame Maple w/ LR Baggs Micro EQ

True I do not want to put $300 of stuff into a $75 (?) guitar
