So I bought this beautiful '96 Camaro a couple days ago
$1000
Price says it all
Not really.. Just needs engine work so that it'll pass the emissions test
Actually.. The motor completely sucks and it needs to replaced
Sure, runs good and roars. But needs to be replaced
(It smokes up.. and it won't last more than 2 months if I'm lucky)

Now I could sell this beast for $1200
Make $200 profit and give $500 to my mom for bills or anything
and buy a 3/4 size sports bike
Saving myself money on gas and stuff
Sure it's abit smaller than a normal crotch rocket
Might look alittle funny
But it can't look worse than a 50CC Scooter
(Not that I am a chubby 30 year old. I'm 17.. opposite of fat)

or I could keep it
and have to take the bus and ask for rides for alittle while
until I could afford a new motor
And then I could be.... Ballin... Oh god so ballin
Oh and the looks I get from chicks in this thing... Man

Mostly just need a car to go to class and work
If I kept the Camaro I would cruise and stuff (later)

Man, but I am torn right now.

F-body GM's (Firebirds and Camaros) age well.

I have a 1989 Firebird.

But to you, TS, I say: Get a damn motorcycle. I'll be doing the same soon.

It's at 149K
It would of lasted longer but the last owner was a complete idiot.. haha

Well I forgot to mention, it needs more work than just the engine.
Headlights, ABS system needs something,
and the fuel line appears to have rust.
Yeah that's scary
Let's see how ballin' I am when I'm on fire. lmao

I'm leaning towards selling it and buying an Eclipse to.
or the bike.

I bought an '86 GMC Vandura 2500 the other week for $400.
Pic related, it's my bands van.

Get an estimate on the repairs and check the bluebook value. If you are able to get it fixed and still make a profit off of selling it, I would do that.

How can you make a profit? didn't you have to pay sales tax?
application for title transfer had to cost you something
and didn't you have to register the vehicle? (license plates)

plates for a car won't transfer to a bike.
you'll have to pay all those costs again.

That's why your write a "receipt" out that says you are selling it for $1 and both parties sign it.
