Cleans only please!

I had one, ditched it. Great amp if you need cleans on a budget, otherwise, look elsewhere.

Unless you expected to play metal, I don't understand you.

I'm a bluesman myself and I must say, the cleans are great! But when you need that overdriven bluesy tone, look elsewhere. A laney vc15 or lionheart 5 watt combo would be great for overdrive, not a Hot Rod.

Yup.

I did not expect metal, but I did expect decent overdrive. It's not even good for bluesy stuff. If I was decent at modding, I would've replaced the volume pots, and modded the drive channel to basically sound like the clean channel with pre amp gain, but alas, I'm not so skilled. Not to mention the tube rattle made it kind of pointless.
