well im guessing you know how to put on wax with an iron and all that fun stuff. if you do, then i guess it should work. i mean, wax is wax isnt it? ive seen people get cheap candles and use them so. if it f*cks up your board, dont look at me.

Cause he's in Alaska.

And don't do it, they're not the same thing at all.
Well they're both wax, but alpine wax is specially designed for this sort of thing, I can't see it turning out well. I would never put that on my skiis.

Yes because they don't sell snowboard wax in Alaska despite all the snow they get in the winter . Also, it's pretty kick ass that your season is about to kick off. I wont be on the slopes until probably late November/early December.

I feel bad looking at porn simply because of the ol' story that a lot of those girls were molested as children, But I've never heard of midgets being molested, so it doesn't matter to me anymore, as that's the only kind of porn I watch.

Eh, the way I see it is you can ether spend a max of $10 (including shipping) to order wax, or you can ruin your board and buy another for like $200-$300.

kk thanks all for the tips. ill probably just order it online. or drive 100 miles to the next town to get some.

yeah, it'd prolly fukk up your shred-slider. anyone ever notice the difference b/w the different temp waxes? of course it'd make a difference.

Apparently you've forgotten your geography. The Alaskan tundra is a desert, the definition of a desert, is dependent on the annual precipitation values for the area. Although It is snowing the majority of the time (or it just appears to be due to drifting snow) the mean snowfall is about one third that of places like New Hampshire. Also, chances are there's not a store near him, because he lives in ALASKA.

Dude, just buy some proper wax.

It'll work better. Trust me

...
I won't be getting up there for a few months

Edit: I use this Mach III Purple stuff... I think it's for 18- or something like that. It gets quite cold here.
