Wow could you brag a little more ? haha.. I've been playing for five years and you should try to start it off with old stuff. I mean 60's old. Try Beatles solos or The Who, you feel me?

Try some ACDC stuff, like "Shook Me All Night Long", and "Thunderstruck".

Have a try at Seize the Day - Avenged Sevenfold.
It's relatively easy.

Green Day songs like American Idiot and Holiday are crowd pleasers and very easy, but guitarists will probably bag you for it.
The AC/DC songs suggested are fairly easy.
Scar Tissue by Red Hot Chili Peppers is a good one.

Good luck =]

The first solo in the GN'R version of Knockin' on Heaven's Door is pretty easy and fun, so is the beginning of the Sweet Child O' Mine main solo (just up to the bit when the WahWah gets turned on, then it gets harder ).

This is a good solo to try. It's slow, easy and sounds good. The solo to Crazy Train isn't that bad for when you get comfortable with soloing.
Your opinion is just that, YOUR opinion. It doesn't make you right. It doesn't make you better. It doesn't make you god. Everyone has their own view and that view is neither right or wrong.

Ignorance destroys music.

The solo for Getaway Car by Audioslave. It's a slow blues scale solo that sounds nice and is easy to play. First solo I learned

First of all, nice name!

Try Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2) by Pink Floyd. There's not really much speed wise, but it will take you a while to get all the bends.

You're making it too complicated... any solo is ez to learn.. just break it down bar by bar. If you dont have the mechanics you arent gonna pull it off anyways.. so work on that for sure.

get a scale book too. helped me a lot when i first started. learn 1 scale a day and do excersises on it.

nothing else matters is an ez one though.. lot of metallica solos ez and sound good.
