The bugera. Those other two are solid state amps.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

really?
but they have head?
how can you tell if solid state or valve?

Check the specs, I just know those two aren't tube amps. Solid states can come in head form too.

What's your budget for an amp? What kind of music are you playing? Can you go used? Only for bedroom or will you ever gig?

well im also from australia
but my budget is around max $900
playing metal stuff, so a valve would be ideal with pedals etc,
and i can go used yeh probs just bedroom

i also found VOX AD60VTX

Look for a roland cube, or possibly a krank rev jr. I don't think you're gonna like using a 120 watt amp in your bedroom. In the end though, you should just try everything, making sure to test it extensively at the volume you'll use it the most.

Edit: The vox is nice, though I'd look elsewhere for metal tones.

yeh i already got a roland cube 20x

Just curious why you're upgrading, if you're not gigging or aren't planning too, then a 120 watt tube amp is way overkill for a bedroom. If you really want to upgrade, then I'd look at the krank rev jr, or maybe the jsx mini collosal.

well i basically just want to upgrade to a valve amp

But why? Are you unsatisfied with your tone now? I love valve amps, but they aren't the end all be all of amps.

I don't want you to think I'm steering you away from a new amp, I just trying to make sure you don't wanna get one just to have a tube amp.

I agree with everything Kevin has said here.

If you truely want a valve amp that's great. A Peavey Valveking may suit you and should end up being about 900AUS. I like the JSX mini idea too but not so much on the XL Valvetronix series but that is just me.

^I'm with those two guys. If you don't like your tone that's one thing. You may find it hard to duplicate the lower volume metal tones you get with the Roland through a tube amp without selling an arm. (which you would need to play guitar). But a JSX mini would get my vote if you want to have tubes for the sake of having tubes. But it won't be close to as versatile as the Roland.
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.

Seriously, the Bugera will be way overkill for a bedroom. Hell, I know a guy who has one and he says it can be overkill for small gigs. But the MGs are sh*t and I'm not in love with alvekings either. How much are Crate V-Series across the Tasman? Over here a V18-112 is $799, which (if its similar there) would leave you with some cash for an OD/distortion pedal.
