Bloc Party - Silent Alarm

pretty meh actually. There third was best so far.

I'm looking at getting it. If the songs are anywhere near as bad as the songs flux and mercury then no way. Is it good?

That's where you're going wrong.

Those songs are awesome. It's silent alarm thats ""

I like where they're going with their sound. I haven't got their second one though.

I hated them. They were cheesy as. They weren't even good dance tracks, but still, is the album filled with them?

Yeah it's pretty much all like that. Mercury's probably my favorite track off it. Nothing like helicopter.

Actually, Halo's probably the closest you'll get.

It's probably the simplest track on the album, layer wise. Drum, bass, guitar, vocals and no weird sounds.

Enema of the State - Blink 182

Awesome, awesome.

And before that
Rise or Die Trying - Four Year Strong

One of the best albums ever I reckon

Thread hijacking huh?

Well not really; they're talking about songs on the last album they bought.

And speaking of which, Halo is a ****ing awesome song, Mercury is way too weird and awkward sounding for me.

Really?

It kinda reminds me of the national anthem by Radiohead.

Just the horns I guess.

I just got The Crucible Of Man by Iced Earth yesterday. I hadn't realized it was out yet, but I happened to look at the Iced Earth CDs when I was in Best Buy and I was like "Fuck Yea!"

It's awesome! When I got home I put on the head phones and listened to it straight through while following it in the album booklet, reading the lyrics and looking at the album art. I wanted to make sure I didn't misinterpret anything he said.

It's so awesome how much went into it to make it all fit and it's almost believable lol. The Anti-Christ has been around for 2000 years and we didn't even know it!!! Set Abominae pwns all.
