any number as long as its has a97d any number can be divided by 45 unless they mean divided by 45 and comes out to a whole number its 2970

You work out all the multiples of 45 up to the highest with 4 digits, then look for ones with in the x97x format.

(*45+10)a+d+70=*45
*45a+10a+d+(*45+25)=*45
10a+d+25=*45

10a+d=*45+20

I guess you can try from that point...10a+d<100 so *45+20<100
so *45+20 is either 65 or 20
so the number is either 6975 (10*6+5=65) or 2970 (10*2+0=20)

I don't know if you can do it without trying numbers yourself...

Here's the solution.

a97d = 45*x

a*1000 + 970 + d = 45*x

970/45 = 21*45 + 25

a*1000 / 45 = a(45*22 + 10)

a*10 + 25 + d = 45 * (-22a-21+x)

Now all we need to find is what a and d are.

a*10 + 25 + d = 45 * y (multiple of 45)

Need to find suitable numbers so that both a and d are single positive digits

If y = 1

a = 2 and d = 0

if y=2

a = 6 and d = 5

If y=3, then there is no relationship that satisfies both a and d as single digits.
