what a stupid title question, it would be kinda hard to run a bunch of stores if no one worked there

Seeing how most of the employees at the guitar center near me seem like they're on drugs, probably not.
#4
i hope you guys are right haha.

i know its a stupid title but i dont want to blatantly put out "does guitar center drug test?"
even though that is what im asking lol.
#6
probably a criminal background check since its a store

hahaha! so true, i went to a guitar center in Kansas City and at least half the people were stoned. not saying all of them were like that but i somehow doubt drug screening is a store wide policy.

1)make jokes about rancid and NOFX (as if they dont already make fun of themselves)
2)make obvious punk puns, possibly related to food
3)make fun of Rancid and NOFX again

this is a stupid question, what sort of sales assistant job is gonna test you for bloody drugs?!
#13
jeebus. It's just a question i want answered so i can continue baking my white widow cake.

on the application they said "I agree to submit to any lawful criminal background checks and drug, alcohol, or other testing that may be required as a
condition of employment or continued employment"

just being cautious :]

thats a bit ignorant, since A LOT of sales positions randomly drug test and some even require it.
They credited us with the birth of that sort of heavy metal thing. Well, if that's the case, there should be an immediate abortion.

Ahh, I wanted to ask you guys a question, I always wanted to work in an instrument shop, but don't really know what they demand from previous experiences ect. Do you have to be educated as an electrician or something? Because this one time I saw it in the papers, it said pretty clearly they wanted someone who had an apprenticeship diploma as an electrician, something like that. And I certainly don't have that, but I know a shit-load about guitars, effects, instruments in general...Suppose I'll never get a job at a guitar shop, but it woulda been dope as hell...

Good luck with the interview!
#19
Thanks dude.

well i know you just need to be 18 to work at sam ash or guitar center.

yeah a lot of places require drug tests.
