Well The Talent Show For School is coming up, and I don't know what to play... I want to play in it and apparently they want me to play in it too cuz the teacher that runs it signed me up before I did... I just need some cool acoustic songs to choose from... Nothing hard just simple chords but a great song... Help

Wild Horses - The Rolling Stones

Easy to do competently, but a lot of space for improvisation if you wan to. Also easy to sing. Well known, but also respected by those who would look down on something obvious like knocking on heavens door. The perfect acoustic cover.
Ever wonder what rock would have sounded like in 2010 if grunge hadn't made it cool to be stupid?

If you go to the Acoustic Forum, there's a sticky called "What Songs?" There's a good list of songs organised into several categories, so try that first.

They credited us with the birth of that sort of heavy metal thing. Well, if that's the case, there should be an immediate abortion.

Holy crap on a bun, freakin' THIS.
If you can pull it off well, totally do it.

I was gonna come in here to suggest some Neil Young. I recommend "Needle and the Damage Done," or if you wanna play something even easier, "Down by the river" is the way to go. Learn 'em and you'll be really cool.

Whoa, how could I forget that one.

If you have a harmonica and you can learn the part at the 1:54ish mark, you'll be beyond awesome. Amazing song indeed, consider it seconded.
