I'm looking for a good MIDI Synth software, for making my own electronic music, and i was wanting to know which ones some of you used.

I've found a few and im just looking for the best one out there (that is also free)

If you want a program that knows how read a midi instrument, ex: midi keyboard, etc., i have no idea but i can't imagine it being to hard to find one.

If you just want a program where you can make midi files, a great program is called PowerTab, where you can place numbers on different tabs and have midi instruments play them back to you. With that program, you can also import and export midi files, which comes in handy, cause you can take the midi file, and, if you have i-Tunes, you could convert the midi into a mp3 file, then you have virtually unlimited possibilities to stuff with it.

Unfortunately, PowerTab doesn't support the drum machine aspect of the midi files, which sucks. But if you really want a drum machine separately, you can download another free program called "PUMP v. 1.0.98". Hope I answered your question thoroughly.

^I'd LOVE to keep reporting this ass**** but I need sleep. Keep reporting him guys, maybe a mod will finally come on and HOPEFULLY we can get mods in many timezones. We have many but they are pointless if they are all off at one point in time.
