yesterday i turned on my computer and my desktop background had been changed to a blank white background with this picture in the middle

its not a real button, just a picture. i have no problem going over to comp usa and getting some spyware removal software, i'm probably going to do that today. but is this sudden background change a result of spyware? or is windows actually warning me about something?

and idk what the thing is at the bottom, i hosted it with image shack, just ignore it

that virus is a variaton on one of the worst ones I have to deal with at work (i.e. advising people on howto fix). Best bet is to download Kaspersky Internet Security or NOD32. Try running either of those.

Otherwise back up your data and reinstall windows.

it doesn't haave to be spyware. it most likely is, but trojan horses and viruses have a much easier ability to alter your local computer than spyware does. spyware USUALLY, but not always, is just a data miner and a watchdog on your PC.

Maybe if you go into safe mode and try Spybot and Adaware

Spyware is a pain

Good luck in getting rid of it

It's taken over active desktop, it basically runs a HTML document over the top of your desktop, disable it and it will go away. Then run spyware and adware removal programs

Run some sort of scan in safe mode.
With safe mode on, it disables the virus as it has nothing to attack, thus leaving it in one area allowing the anti-virus programme to delete it fully.

Although what to use to scan, i do not know.

I use ash-avast. But theres other free scans out there somewhere.

Avast! + Super Anti Spyware + Threatfire, install 'em all, run respective scans.
Otherwise backup + reinstall OS, it's not difficult.

atleast i'm not ignorant and diss music before even listening to it. jay z is to hip hop as slash is to rock, and the black album is an amazing album

open your ears, try new music, and it'll make you a better musician. my ipod ranges from miles davis, to primus, to lil wayne, and literally everything in between.
