I am thinking about getting a multi effects pedel such as the
Digitech gnx4. What is the best out there?

The best....depends on what you're using it for.
Digitech pedals make the best paperweights.
Line 6 pedals make the best billy clubs.
Korg Pedals make the best tennis rackets.
Boss GT pedals make the best sounds.

But really. genres?
I'm putting my GAS on hold
for a couple months in order to pimp my ride.

Don't judge me.

Gt8 hands down. Get ready to study when you buy one though, there are 10,000,000 variables. I love mine but it took a while to love it and much experimenting. Everything else is a toy..........yes including the pod(which I have too) great for recording but horrible for live and practice.

In that price range I'd say a GT-10 or a G-Major or a Nova System.
