I have been playing guitar since 2004 with a Stratocast, and I realized, after it started "dying" that it's time has almost come, and that I'd need a new guitar.

I have my eyes set on these two guitars. Which one would you recommend for me?

Thanks.

EDIT:::::

Or the ESP LTD EC-100QM Electric Guitar:

well,
i have never owned the studio,
but i have the 100.

i got it in like 05/06
and i JUST upgraded to the custom LP about a month ago

anyway, the 100, its not the best guitar,
but its a really great guitar for that price
its reliable, and it feels great.
just give me a fender and let me rip

if you're upgrading from a starter guitar, you'll want the studio over the lp-100.

what amp are you using?

I believe thats a fender frontman amp you have there but I could be wrong. I would go for the 100 prsonally, unless you really want that set neck, gives you more sustain. It is like 50 bucks more for the set in neck.

i am esp/ltd fan but if i have to chosse, i'll take the lp-100 even though i dont think it will sound lot better than your starter guitar cause the your amp kinda bad
Bedroom Set up:

ESP LTD EC-400 with 81/60 EMG
Yamaha SJ550HR, 1980's Strat (rare guitar)
Crate v18
Digitech Bad Monkey
Vintage 30 Speaker
Metal Muff

Saving up for ESP Uruha's Signature Guitar

it actually wont sound any better thru the frontman.

if i were you, i would spend $125 on a microcube.
and either work on getting the squier set up better, or post a budget of what's left and we'll suggest another guitar.

you will thank me with candy and flowers, trust me.

If I remember right, the 100 is bolt-on and the Studio is set neck. That alone is the biggest reason to go with the Studio.
