well I got me a korina body blank and am about to work on it.
Is there anything I should know about it before I start cutting and painting?
Does it crack easily during bandsaw, do i need to do something to it before painting or staining, or gluing? Any help would be apreciated, thanks

Also, I'm not working on this yet, but i would use a handsaw to insert fret slots right?

Yeah handsaw for the frets.

Also I have heard korina is hazardous to you health, you have to wear a mask when working with it. I'm not sure but I believe it is true.

Perry Ormsby has worked with it, you can find him under the user name OrmsbyGuitars.
