And love, the things I see
remove as quickly
or more than I can
Such is the blood that pulses
in and out again; my retinas
sweat and glean.

I leaf through vision
and taste – one as the other –
trismic and toothless as
my gums push together
in shameless attrition.

This plurring insect of
my eyes gets off
my eyes – leaning forward

Now I see tactile
and these laminated veins
look smooth, jumping slow motion.
Feeling feels like eyes
and I see you surrounding,
omnipresent and longing.

My pupils cross over Adam’s
throat and he bleeds into
the sight of your chest and mine,
as they heave in time.
