could you share your chronicle of learning guitar and music, don't really need to put a time line, because not everyone is practicing in a routine manner. It would be nice if you could specify the learning material that you use.

for example:
Open chord - about.com
basic scale - about.com
Barre chord - Rock Guitar for Dummies
Power Chord - Rock Guitar for Dummies
Basic theory - musictheory.com, Music course

Pretty much everything- ultimate-guitar.com

That's sums it up, from questions to well written lessons this is where I get the majority of my stuff. also jguitar.com for a scale and chord generator. Other than that its alot of jumping around.

ROLAND CUBE 15X
BOSS DS-2 TURBO DISTORTION
Dunlop Ultrex Jazz III

does coldplay consider punkrock?
for some reason i don't like to learn songs, maybe because i hate to read, any suggestion? I like practice, just read little bit, and practice the hell out of it.

I have learnt more in the past 2 years from reading UG than I have from 7 years of paying large sums of money for a half-decent music teacher from a crummy music trust.
It's Just Rock.
