Last Monday, I went to the dermatologist to get some warts removed. He froze them damn well (hurt like shit) and sent me on my way. It's now Saturday and my finger looks like this:

A HUGE blister. There's a lot of pressure. How long until it heals?

You guys could answer my question you know...

Or you could go ask your doctor instead of a guitar forum and whine that you don't get good answers...

Looks like skin cancer to me.
I'm studying dermatology at my university, and this looks like the classic symptom of old skin cancer.
yes sir, skin cancer.

we're not doctors, but i'd assume that that's normal. should last as long as any other blister... week or so at best i'd guess?

Actually it takes like 2-3 days for the pain to go away. Then, the blister will start falling of.

Hm. Interesting.

Ouch, that shouldn't happen. Did you have a bad dermatologist? If it doesn't start to feel better soon (like a couple of days), then go to the doctor and see if that's meant to happen. If he says something's gone wrong, sue the bugger who did the freezing.

Looooong...
I've fought warts on my feet for about a year and a half. Freezing, lasers - you name it, I've done it. They finally went away after treating them with acid for two weeks.

Sounds good. Should I try to pop it?
