So I recently purchased a Boss DD-2 on eBay for £40, which I was absolutely thrilled about. To my utter dismay, it has decided to stop working. When I plug it in it just buzzes lightly and won't turn on no matter how many times I press the switch. I've tried replacing the batteries and the leads and neither make any difference. Is there something I'm missing or was it just silly to buy a 20+ year old pedal without checking the condition?

Thanks in advance.

If the LED isn't coming on then the footswitch is probably broken. Boss footswitches are pretty cheap and super easy to install. If the LED comes on but there's no signal getting though, check if all the wires are connected. If so, I'd get someone who really knows what they're doing to check the components, etc.

Ok, thanks for your help guys. I've managed to get the pedal working somehow, just the LED needs replacing lol.

Cheers.
