Clerks 1 is in Black and White, Clerks 2 is in color. Both movies are freakin amazing.

Edit: Why did I capitalize "black and white"?

It bugs me when people use it wrong. I'm good at spelling and grammar. That's why I'm in college. That's why they pay me the big bucks, baby.

I'd have to say the best part in the Clerks movies is the scene in Clerks 2 with Wanda Sykes where they're having the discussion about racism.

Tell me about it. It's the same with they're/there/their, to/too/two and were/we're/where.

People have been taught this stuff (supposedly) since their first few years at school. You think they might be able to get it right today.

^I agree. Proper phonetics and grammar ftw!

Was good, They were also in Mall Rats. Oh and Chasing Amy. What other movies were they in?
#27
^Dogma. Haven't seen it yet though

I like it how they stop and look at the camera whenever they mention something about a movie eg.
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon while talking about doing movies becasue they owe someone (kevin smith i would guess) a favour.

It' a little more serious(But still has some cheesy stuff). It's been age's since I've watched it, I used to watch so many movies. It's probably worth watching, Keep in mind It's going to be a little more serious, so inviting the guys over to watch probably Isn't the best idea.

I think.....

SEE IT. That's the best Kevin Smith film.

And yeah, Clerks is alright. Not quite as good as everyone makes out, but still pretty cool.

I just watched Jersey Girl last night. It was alright. Wayyy too predictable though and seemed like he dumbed down his usual clever dialogue.

Also, this is now a Kevin Smith thread.

He disowned Jersey Girl. And I've heard bad things about it.

He just disowned it because it did so amazingly horrible. "I think Jersey Girl was just one of those flicks that was the wrong time, the wrong guy, the wrong everything. But I still love it." In an interview from the Clerks II DVD, Smith noted "All these people were just thrashing this movies' stars instead of looking at the movie itself. I get that a lot of people didn't like it but dude, I spent 2 years of my life on that movie."

He doesn't get any sympathy from me though. I hate those those two.
