I hooked up the ol' again a few days ago and beat this game for the billionth time, and every single time I bobbed my head to this tune. Almost with the stage never ended . Anyway, so I figured I'd record my favorite MegaMan tune ever. Thought it turned out quite good so I decided to post it and see what others thought of it. On to the track specifics!

Drums - Acoustica Beatcraft
Don't know why I didn't get this program sooner. A breeze to program with and sounds way better than the guitar pro drums to me. Still having trouble getting a beefier sound with it though, so pm me with tips if you use it.

Bass - Hohner Steinberger copy into AMT DT-2 on tweed model with slight OD

Guitar - M-255 into 5150 combo mic'ed with logitech computer mic
The lead part was boosted with my Boss SD-1 and I also added a bit of delay to it to fatten it up.

Took about an hour and a half to record and EQ. Had a lot of fun with this one. Especially the bass part (I don't play bass often and this one has some fast gallops and a couple stretches). Anyway, all comments and critiques are welcomed and will be returned!

Enjoy!!

Glad you liked it and thanks for the crits!

@ x0rsist - What about the tone did you not like? I thought it had enough chunk and cut, but my ears like what they like.

Wow, that blew me away! I've listened to it about six times now... I'm definitely going to redo my Snake Man cover.

I loved the guitar and bass; however, the drums sounded too "beatmachine" for me, although these are probably toward the better end of what I've heard. Awesome is the only word that comes to my mind...

Glad you liked the tune and am happy that you'll be re-recording yours. Hit me up with a pm or something if you'd like to discuss some ways to get a better sound out of your current recording set-up.

Also, the drums sound a little "machine-like" because I'm still learning how to fully use Acoustica Beatcraft.
