I have the A737 Slider. It's a cool phone. But the reception is pure garbage. And my buddy had the A717 flip. Also garbage reception. So i'm guessing that this will also have poor reception. But thats just my experience.

I think my friend has one of those, and she hates it.
But she hates a lot of things.

I haven't used that phone, but I will only use samsung phones, they seem more well built than any of the other phones I've used. The reception is not as great as other phones, but the phone itself will last way longer

I've had a Samsung D900 for about 18 months. Solid as a rock, nothing ever gone wrong with it. Some people I know have some of the newer ones and they've never had any problems either.

Phone is VERY sturdy, lol. Drop it a lot, still works.

But as far as reception goes, I have to move to get reception like 30 times a day. But at least it has a nice little indicator that says you don't have reception. Too bad almost every other time i open the phone, its there.

He's right about the sturdiness. They are actually built like tanks. Mine lasted maybe three years after being used and abused. It still works but the buttons weren't working properly. My mates is still going strong and it's been dropped, run over, there's a crack in the screen and there is visible water inside it. Still works.

My previous Sony Ericson had EXCELLENT service. Too bad it died when it hit the wall in a car wreck...
