This is vastly incomplete, obviously. Just critique please.

Let me know what you think so far…

Verse 1:
Well, the other day I met my old shipmate.
She told me of her latest goings-on.
Oh, if we could have been, it’d be icing on the cake.
---------------DRUM--------------FILL------------------
I know this is all just SNAFU.
But I don’t care, as long as only I love you.
It’s selfish as can be, selfish even for me.
I shot my mouth off when I should’ve let you be.
It’s hot down here in the Engine Room.

Verse 2:
Self-anguish rushes through me at what I did wrong.
I sit and sulk for hours, the days always seem so long.
So I look at her picture and play sad songs in my head.
Wishing these feelings would cease to be, I sit and cry.

Chorus:
Oh no! I do believe we’re falling out again,
We’re parting company, going our separate ways.
It breaks my spirits to leave my shipmates.
I now am forced to move on and leave myself behind.
Oh no, we’re falling out again
And I fear I won’t be the same.

Verse 3:
Suffering life and limb, working to the bone.
Hard days’ work never seems to finally be done.
Knowing what I know now, I’m living in the present lamentation.
I want things to go back to the way they were before,
If I could go back in time, then I would surely soar!

Chorus:
Oh no! I do believe we’re falling out again,
We’re parting company, and going our separate ways.
It breaks my spirits to leave my shipmates.
I now am forced to move on and leave myself behind.
Oh no, we’re falling out again
And I fear I won’t be the same.

Bridge:
I want to be a mariner, but I know I’m just a Jonah.
I can’t take it much more than this, I don’t know…
Maybe I’ll just go back home...
I know its wrong to go; I don’t care if I miss movement.
Take me out to Captain’s Mast, demote me finally at last.
I’ll turn to, and run and hide in the scuppers with
The hausepipes of a loonies, seeing as I don’t see anything at all.
Why don’t you ring the ships bell, default us to our stations, and never
Let us take another fall. Take us in your heart’s own love, let us be it again.

Chorus:
Oh no! I do believe we’re falling out again,
We’re parting company, and going our separate ways.
It breaks my spirits to leave my shipmates.
I now am forced to move on and leave myself behind.
Oh no, we’re falling out again
And I fear I won’t be the same.
