I've just recently got my first electric guitar, fender strat highway 1 hss, with fender bullet strings

I've had trouble bending notes anywhere above a full bend.

Would any1 know how to bend effectively above a full bend?
Or is it something wrong with the strings/guitar itself?

Cheers

It could be that your strings are too high a gauge. If you're new, .09s or .10s are fine to start with. I don't know many songs that require you to bend up more than a step. If you needed to bend for instance the 12th fret to make it sound like the 15th fret, you can move up to the 13th fret and do a whole bend from there.

And also, wrong forum
