Well, it finally came today! I figured I'd share with my GG&A buddies instead of the Electric Guitar forum, since you guys are cooler *looks around to make sure no one heard that.*

I came home today and saw a large box at the stairs...

So I opened it and inside there was... HUGE BUBBLES!

I pulled them out as fast as possible and found this inside...

Of course, I had to open that too!

Is that a Les Paul I see? No... even better... it's an Edwards!

Edwards E-LP-92SD = Sex.

When I re-record the clip I have up of the Nitro on my profile, I'll be using the Edwards and SG Standard

Hopefully this weekend.

Thanks man! Shipping up to Canada takes forever, but I know you'll love it

And as for the people who asked where I bought it, I bought it from a guy over at The Gear Page. However, I was going to buy one new from Ishibashi Guitars in Japan, which were the cheapest by about $50. They quoted me $820 shipped for the same model

The guitar I got looks like no one ever played it, it still has the plastic over the pickguard, pickups, etc. I paid $750 for it.

You can only order them from Japan. Edwards guitars are not allowed be sold in the US as they'd be sued for Gibson since their guitars are almost dead-on copies, cheaper and better quality for the price

I bought it "used" from a guy on The Gear Page though, but it looks brand new. If you order new, I recommend Ishibashi Guitars, they have great customer service and their representatives speak perfect English, so there's no language barrier there.

Claw, how does it feel? I'm thinking of grabbing the same model but a Gold Top.

It plays excellently. The neck isn't huge, but isn't tiny either, it's just right. I have the action set really low, there's fretbuzz acoustically, but none comes through on an amp. I'm sure I could easily get rid of it if I wanted to, but the intonation is set perfectly, so I don't want to go and move stuff and mess it up

The binding and frets are much better than my SG Standard. Sound-wise, it sounds MUCH better than any Gibson I've tried in its price range, and easily on par with ones 2 to 3 times more expensive, if not better.

The guitar's weight is about 9lbs, which surprisingly feels a lot lighter than I thought it would, I guess my Ibanez has made me used to the weight.
