I can't believe that you're gone
I can't believe that it's done
I'm left here wondering how
Can't help but miss you now
I can't erase from my mind
Reasons I can't seem to find
I'm left here wondering how
Can't help but miss you now

I held you in my arms and gripped
I tried to hold on but I slipped
I can't forgive myself for losing you

And all I can say is that I'm sorry I failed you
I see that you've moved on so goodbye forever

It kills me more than it seems
To still see you in my dreams
I'm left here wondering how
Can't help but miss you now
How could this happen so fast
Who said this love could not last
I'm left here wondering how
Can't help but miss you now

I held you in my arms and gripped
I tried to hold on but I slipped
I can't forgive myself for losing you

And all I can say is that I'm sorry I failed you
I see that you've moved on so goodbye forever

Here I stand alone, with no place to hide
Wish that you were here, here right by my side
And I think of the first time that we kissed
How could it end like this?

What I'd give to have you back again (x4)

(guitar solo)

And all I can say is that I'm sorry I failed you
I see that you've moved on so goodbye forever

I held you in my arms and gripped
I tried to hold on but I slipped
I can't forgive myself for losing you

I liked it. Not too deep, not too simple either. In a few places, I could see some forced rhyming, but it doesnt really subtract too much from the piece itself. Again, its a bit simple, but nothing too simple to make me think that you are completely inexperienced. If you think my review is helpful, heres my latest lyrical piece:

thanks for the input. i do kinda tend to force the rhyming sometimes. i'm still fairly new at writing lyrics, i've mostly just done music up until recently. i might rework it a bit but i think it'll do for the most part. i'll check your's out i guess.
