I went to guitar center and tried one of the Egnater Combos. Its a 100ww combo with 4 channels. The tone sounds pretty good and it goes for about $1500 USD. My Marshall combo was stolen and im looking for a new one. I tried the Egnater, Mesa Combo, Peavy JSX and I found the Egnater sounded the best.

My question is reliability. Do these amps last a long time? I need an amp for club gigs so there is a lot of transit.

thnx

They are Egnater's first line of mass produced amps, iirc.

They are made over seas, from what I understand.

So their reliability should be on par with other over seas made amps.

Overseas meaning Europe and Asia. My guess is that European amps last longer than Asian amps.

Not necessarily. Probably not Europe, though. The combos are new, so it's early for reliability data, but I haven't heard of any problems. They sound great, though.
