Hi there,
so since my recent purchase of a BC Rich ASM Pro fell through, I am currently searching for a new guitar again.
Came across this explorer:

Looking mainly at the worn brown colour, dont think thats shown though.
Anyone own one? played one? have any thoughts about it all?
Any comments would be useful.
Thanks.

Ive played one. Sits fairly comfortably sitting down, but the neck was wider than I expected. But thats something I could get used to. Sounds great, of course.

Not sure where I can get an explorer pro around where I am, isn't the body on the pro smaller than the original?

I am looking at the 76' Reissue model as well, hate that you've gotta pay an extra £100 for it in white though.

Thanks for the reply. The neck width doesnt bother me too much, since I already own a Jackson I use that for more fast paced songs/shredding, plus I have quite large hands anyway.
Will be playing Metallica, Megadeth etc. Should handle it pretty well.

I love the Explorer. They are very comfortable to play sitting down. The faded ones are the same as the the regular ones just without clear coat on them. They have the same pickups and hardware. I have a faded Flying V and my friend has a regular white one. The finish is the only difference. They sound the same. My local guitar shop has one of the brown Explorers so I had to try it out. I liked it. It played great and sounded awesome. If I had the money I'd buy one.

The Explorer Pro is smaller. I for one like the original Explorer better.
