I'm a bit chubby, I wanna lose some weight. Blah blah blah personal journey.

Now, how do you lose weight FAST like, no bullshit hardcore. No "pills". No "special drinks".

I need two workout routines, one for the gym, one for at home.

Ideas?

Loose weight by doing sit ups but not by running? Did you go to the Hollywood Medical school with Dr Nick Riviera or what are you talking about?

i lost somewhere between 30-35 lbs. this summer. for a couple of weeks i ran 2 miles a day. then i would skateboard a couple of hours everyday and i would lift weights every other day. i also dieted a little. i would eat a normally breakfast and normal lunch and a small supper. try to eat supper early because you burn few calories when you sleep at night

when i said a couple weeks i meant i did the 2 miles for a couple of weeks. the rest i did the entire summer.

forget niche diets and that stuff. just do tons of cardio and other calorie burning activities. keep up at it and then keep going so more.

some changes you should make in your diet is to cut out bad foods and to create smaller portions for yourself but also eat more frequently.

eating more and smaller meals should help to raise your metabolism thus allowing you to burn energy off faster all without starving your body of energy and hopefully without rebound weight gain.

Well, as someone said, building muscle won't always help you "lose" weight, since muscle weighs more than fat. It will, however, make you look less chubby. As people have said before: Run, pushups/situps, and don't eat much fat. And as somebody pointed out, try to eat more often, and not as much each time (like 5 small meals as opposed to 2 or 3 big ones)

EDIT: And DON'T stop eating! That will actually make your body go into "famine" mode and you'll burn less fat ("conserving" it)! BAD thing!

Treadmills are your enemy. They mess with your knees in the long run. Just do a lot of cardio.

There is no "fast" way to lose weight fatass. It's takes cardio, strict diet, and a lot of hard work. There are no shortcuts. Now go to forum.bodybuilding.com. Check out the nutrition and workout section. They will give you all the knowledge you need.

To keep myself from getting big and blubbery I do push-ups at night before I get ready for bed. Try that, it's worked out ok for me.

In the last 6 months I went from weighing 246 to 194.

All I did was change my eating habits. I had smaller portions and made healthier food choices.
Also I started a new medication with a side effect of loss of appetite, so that helped.

Also moving/walking around as much as you can during your daily routine would help.

Even small changes are good.

And it's good you're not using diet pills.

Watch what you eat and for me pilates has been miraculous!My whole body changed and I'm extremely strong now.

Eat fish that have Omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3s help your body use energy instead of storing it. Make sure you get a good amount of fiber in your diet, high fiber diets are healthy and they've been proven to help weight loss.

Aside from the food thing, ignore anyone who says NOT to build muscle. Muscles use up energy. The bigger your muscles are, the more energy they need. The more energy they need to function, the more fat and calories you burn. Also, try doing exercises that focus on all the different parts of your body. Squats will strengthen and tone your bum, sit ups will strengthen and tone your upper abdomen, crunches " " lower abdomen, push ups " " arms and chest, etc.

completely cut out all junk food and soda/alcohol. That's how I lost 40 pounds over the summer

since i got to college i've lifted and ran at least a mile every day. i eat a normal amount of food, but try to keep it healthier stuff. its been working great for me. i'm in the best shape i've ever been in, and i'm watching all the other freshman plump up. its fantastic.

but lifting is great. it takes constant calories to repair the muscles you've broken down in your body during lifting. so the calorie burn doesnt just last during the lifting period.
definitely do cardio. even if its just riding a bike or jogging a little.
dont drink soda or other drinks. all you need is water. even gatorade and stuff is just empty calories and sugar.
and NEVER eat after 9 or 10 at night. that packs on the fat like none other.
also little stuff like walking instead of taking a car/riding an elevator, etc.

Light breakfast does you charms, seriously.

Smaller meals, more snaking, more routine in your diet. And more water.

That should be good enough. You can lose weight without extra exercise if you eat moderately.

If you want real instructions on how to lose weight,add me on MSN.I lost about 15 kilos once,i still have about 3 to lose to get the perfect looking abs though.
