Ok so i have been playing guitar for almost a year now im im looking to upgrade by guitar (im playing a lyon by washburn right now) i need a guitar that plays well in many different types of music (from all that remains and as i lay dying to deathcab and jack johnson I need a guitar that plays well clean but also sounds goo when i want to crank it up my budget is $ 500 - 750
OK this probably belongs in the Electric Guitar forum, but since I'm here...

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Schecter-Tempest-Custom-Electric-Guitar?sku=515866 I own one of these (yes I'm the Shadow who reviewed it on MF) and I can safely say they can do anything, especially if you get a coil tap model.

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Schecter-C1-Artist-Limited-Edition-Electric-Guitar?sku=518187 Another great Schecter I highly recommend, especially with the Seymour Duncans.

A couple from other brands I suggest are...

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Jackson-RR3-Rhoads-Pro-Electric-Guitar?sku=512230 Looks like a beast, although I'm not too sure on Jackson stock pickups for clean.

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Jackson-KE3-Kelly-Electric-Guitar?sku=511669 Pretty much the same as above.

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Limited-Edition-Les-Paul-Custom?sku=519391 A good all-round guitar.

If all you had to go on was the forum you'd think a Decimator could cure noise caused by dodgey stage lighting and restock the ocean's population of sperm whales
Epiphone les paul standard with the jimmy Page wiring MOD.
