My Digitech RP250 has a wah modeled after the Vox Clyde McCoy wah. Is the real Vox wah much better than the modeled one? Is it worth buying?

The real thing is 99.9% of the time better than the modeled tone/effect.

personally i favor the dunlop wahs. but only the ones with fasels. if it doesnt actually have a fasel inductor... it really doesnt sound right.

If you really want a Clyde McCoy tone, get a RMC or Fulltone Clyde. The Vox/Dunlops don't really sound that great.

Again, if you want a real good copy of the old Clyde McCoy wahs, get a RMC or Fulltone.

Yep, the Fulltone is amazing. I really love the wider sweep on it.
