I am thinking about one of the following...

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Schecter-C1-Classic-Electric-Guitar?sku=513072

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-S520EX-Electric-Guitar?sku=518873

I really like the sound of both of them. Though they differ.
I am just wondering if anyone has had any problems with this guitar.
I play near everything that is possible on guitar.
So please just let me hear your opinions !

the skinnyness of the neck is what makes Ibanez's rock...

They don't have too much going for them besides that though

save yourself 100$ and get the s320 like I did.
same specs different finish.
Ibanez S320 with Dimarzio Fred + Seymour Duncan 59-> Weeping Demon Wah -> Ibanez TS-7 -> Homemade iBoost x3 -> Keeley DS-1 -> Visual Sound H2O -> MXR Ten Band -> Traynor YCV20

$100 for a finish is not worth it in my opinion guitars are for playing not looks id something to upgrad the guitar for $100 if it ment not getting a finish

it depends on waht you really want. The shecter necks are gunna be thicker.

I'd buy the Ibanez, but that's because i love the thin necks. i can really fly across the fretboard.

ESPs have necks in between Schecters and Ibanezes. Any 400/500 or 1000 series will be $500-$750.

I don't know. I haven't played too many ESPs.
But from what I have played they seem some what bland to me.
The playability on each guitar is same to me.
I'm just wondering if anyone has had any problems with either of these.
:X

there is definitely a weight difference between an S and a neckthru schecter

Well my opinion isn't really valuable, but a good friend of myn has played guitar for 6+ years and knows a ton, and his number 1 advice is don't get a tremolo/whammy system unless you really need it as they're a big hassle, but on the other hand he's a big Ibanez fan. Personally, I say go with the jackson unless you really want that whammy.
