so.. i noticed a while ago when i tryed to adjust the pickups in my rg they would turn, but wouldnt actually come up like a screw or bolt, so when i went to bring the allen key out the magnet part kid of slid up and it looks like wax..
kid of all around the bas of the magnet

.. is it wax? or what he hell is it, its happened to a couple in the last year so im wondering if ive damaged my pups doing this .. and why the hell is there wax? i read about feedback?

i noticed the same exact things when i replaced my pick ups, i guess its some type of sealant?
For what, i dont know, submerging your guitar under water?

ok, i see now, so short of reading the whole tutorial, shoul i be concered about 2 or 3 of the magnets not being covered>?

i think its 1 on the bridge pup and 1 on the neck that it happened to
