What are some of the most technical solos known to man? Can be any kind of metal. Even stuff outside of metal if you want to name some. If you can post videos also.

Why do you care so much about technicality?

This is this close (---) to spam.

cuz ppl hate how power metal they are cuz they think its "gay" or w.e, which is immature and dirogitory

I like to practice really technical music instead of exercises to get better

Plus technical shit is just great when done correctly. It's more interesting and just all around better for me. I don't like hearing the same 4 power chords played over and over for 4 mins.

I love listening to technical music. I'm a tech-head if you will.

then why post a new thread when you haven't even listened to all the bands in your last thread?
like i said, i found all those bands on the first page
or better yet, why don't you just ask for more tech death in the Rec thread at the top of the page?

This solo is the hardest to play, it's one I wrote.

G|----------------------------|
D|----------------------------| x50
A|----------------------------|

Those are 16ths at 350BPM.

Because I was interested to know what some really technical solos are?

I fail to see what the big deal is

I used to think Death's solos were extremely technical, then I took my ADHD pill and I took a crack at the Crystal Mountain solo, a couple of hours later, I got it down...not note for note, but its pretty damn close, except that my guitar has horrible upper fret access and my amplifier's "distortion" is well..a joke. That was today, I also learned mistanthrope which is fun as hell to play, so learn those TS and report back to me.

Far too easy. Just stick something to the first fret to hold it down, put your finger on the 24th fret and... get a fan and use it against the string.

What the **** is it with you and technical shit? Good music is good music, it doesn't matter how hard or easy it is to play.

Here, I recorded myself playing it, piece of cake. It's a bit sloppy, but both my hands are broken, I'm drunk, and I have a concussion.
