OK, so i'm having issues. every one in my house complains I play too loud whenever I use my morely pwb. I always have to do a huge amount of fiddling in order to just find the point right above when the volume cuts out, and they still complain. I'm planning on getting an 3XFX Fatman, which is supposed to be REALLY loud, and I think I need to get a passive volume pedal, so I cut my volume even more, with less fiddling and more precision. What pedal should I get?

I'm assuming that most of us don't jump in and out of lead a lot being bass players, so not a lot of us have experience with a volume pedal. I'm also assuming that a passive volume pedal won't have anytype of input or output cap, and is basically just a foot-adjustable pot, so you can use any passive guitar volume pedal for bass without any loss or change in tone. Put these together, and I think your best bet this time might be to take this to the guitar gear and accessories section, where you'll get many more helpful responses.
