I have to make a song/rewrite it (In own words) about the Declaration of Independence.
I really don't know what parts of the Declaration mean so I can't think of anything.
I've tried looking for one online, but no luck.

This is due tomorrow morning...

So, Pit. Any suggestions?

I'm gonna have to agree with the whole screwed them.

Just write about independence. Write about the freedoms our fathers gave us what makes the US different.
"We barely remember who or what came before this precious moment"

Tool, anyone?
Alter Bridge, maybe?
A bit of John Mayer?
Some beethoven sounds delightful, as well.

Wow, you ARE screwed! Dude, there's nothing to do now except for cram this all in to a few hours' work. Just take things out of it and put them all together. Put some rhythm into it and add some chords, voila, you're done.

Pull a Tenacious D and make a one note song.
Or rip off something from Iron Maiden or Megadeth. A few of their songs talk about independance.
I'm that dude with the fro.

Ya and get a friend to beat box in the background.. A+ in the making
I want to go as far to the edge without going over. Out on the edge, you can see all kinds of different things.

Seriously is it that hard? What could be more inspirational? A rebellious cry for freedom against the tyrants who control the land! Think "We're Not Gonna Take It" but in an older setting.
I've had Alzheimer's Disease for as long as I can remember.

Make it like the Schoolhouse Rock version of the Constitution, just sing the entire song.

Does your teacher know that the Declaration of Independence is essentially just a list of grievances by the Colonists about why George III sucks?

Quote the entire thing, but put it a little bit out of order.

Then again if the teacher is like Hitler as you said

Das wirklich weht tut es nicht
Wir schicken Ihnen in ein Lager
Und dort werden wir Sie töten
Keine Unabhängigkeit für Juden

Yeah. She does know that. I've never met George so I can't really think of why he sucks.
He bacically screwed Great Britain over; just can't think of what he did so bad to make Britain hate him.

If I had a list put in simpler terms/explain things better then I could easily do this assignment. I can't really think right now though.

Have you tried reading the Declaration of Independence or any background about the American Revolution? The intro is the whole "all men are created equal," then there's another significant part where it says "all men are entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," then it says when the people have a right/duty to overthrow the government, then it's just a list of grievances with George III.

Not much you can do there, but good luck.
