Has anyone played one and know how well it stays in tune? I really have considered buying one and I don't want to get the one with a floyd because they are a pain to deal with (granted some of them stay in tune amazingly).

Can't see why not, considering it has a string-through body and its one of the most praised RR models out there.

I prefer barbed wire strings. I find I can get the most br00t41 tonez with it.

that does stay in tune...
has an original floyd rose..perfect stability when set up right.

personally i prefer the rr24, cheaper, OFR, EMG, V shape...im happy
but yea i spose it will stay in tune fine either way, just the floyd wud be harder to change tunings..
