Way too much work getting all these together... stupid broken links .

Jared, Spike: I just picked my favorite of your pieces this month... if you want different ones let me know (Jared, I think you only had 3 anyways).

Anyways, vote kiddies!

ironic that i'm probably the only person on the poll that hasn't used a capital in about a year, and yet my name is one of the few that's capitalised. and it looks stupid.

This was not an easy choice, everyone here had some great pieces to display this month. I will stick by my nom; every piece Katherine has written lately has just blown me away. She has finally found her voice in writing, and it is beautiful and terrifying.
On the eight day we spoke back...

let there be sound.

NGD1313 - I have never read any of his stuff previous to this so I can't really direct my attention strongly enough to thoroughly and entirely develop my thoughts on his piece's. They were all very good though, particularly
"I left my heart in a lead box under your bed" - This was one of the better ones I have read from this poll.

Pixiesfanyo - "kiss me u jacked up jerkk" - I adored this from him. I couldn't quite grasp onto his other two unfortunately. "Epic Poem" was good, just good.

Spike_8bkp: - I find his stuff to be very difficult to read. He writes like no one else I know though, he is the most original writer here, in my opinion.

Dæmönika:
- "Oderint dum Metuant" was the only one I really thought was distinguishable and full of opulently dirty qualities. "Pleurals" was also very very good, but felt too pristine and lacked gritty punch. That's just my brief and new opinion, though.

This is the toughest I've ever seen. Mainly because nothing is actually striking me as 'wow'. That said, my choice is narrowed down to Katherine, Bluesbilly, skagitup and Zach.

There was one piece that I didn't really enjoy by Bluesbilly - "If Preachers Had Problems Too"
Also "The Last Time I Let Myself Go" was a little too brash for me, although it was still good stuff.

skagitup (name?) - "people are never (whatever they say)" - That was one of the best pieces this month. Also "let freedom ring (no, stop, it sing)" was a very good poem. His and Zach's were the most fun to read. They were the most dependable and instantly recognizable, whilst still being original and loveable.

Zach - I am very pleased with the way he has altered his style over and over again. I thought he was too harsh and rough for a while there, but now that he has toned it down slightly, while still retaining a strong sense of himself as a writer, I feel I can really through myself into his work. Its always there, instantly enjoyable and engaging.
- "Sistine Charisma" - This was awesome.

I didn't actually like Katherine's stuff very much this month, but I think that insecurity pushes it forward into unknown territory. Therefore, she gets my vote.

I'm torn between Spike and Daemonika.

Still not sure.
Filth, pure filth... That's what you are.

You're always embarrassed by me. I have failed you. I am sorry father, I just can't swallow that...

Alex without a doubt. You've still got the Aussie crowd here, my man!

Spike is a very, very close second, especially loved Ode to a Collapsing Building
