im looking to get a multi effects pedal... i was wondering which pedals are recommended, and if this is a good pedal

distortion is the only effect
but it is a noise gate and equalizer also

if you didn't have a 5er, I'd suggest the ME20B, it distorts and sounds like it's clipping the amp when you play the B string through it.

I may return or pawn mine though, get a different effect.

no im sayin you dont have to worry about the clipping on the b-string because i think i saw in another thread that he said he sold that bass

I have a 4 string and i dont know where to change my sig, so is that what does that pedal do, and would you recommend any different multi effects pedals

i want something to play around with that will give me a feel for each effect. I will use the pedal until i have enough money for single effects.

if you indeed have no 5er, the Boss ME20B is a great pedal.

+1. my first pedal ever was a bp80. it's unusable for anything other than just playing around to get a feel for each effect, but, if that's what you're after, the BP's aren't bad
