search bar gave me nothin

so i was jamming on my friends Peavey Triple XXX(far better and more powerful than the amp i play on) and i was getting massive amounts of feedback while facing the other direction standing around the corner of a massive drum box with all the volume controls no higher than 9 o'clock and my guitar volume extremely low, though the gain was cranked to about 3 o'clock-ish
most of the amps i have played on dont feedback this easily

so i was wonderin if it is just this amp that feedsback so easily and what the easiest way to reduce how quickly it starts to feedback(other than turning down the volume)

Yeah, my ValveKing started feedbacking (at unbearable levels) at around 3 on the volume.

But i've just recently got an ISP Decimator and it's all good now! No feedback...

So, your best bet would be to get a noise gate of some sort....

Those amps have very, very hot preamp sections.

Gate it.
