I just acquired some drums to supplement my guitar, however the neighbors think they're too loud, and i know there are these rubber things to put on a drum to make it quieter, however the name of them has eluded me.

Anyone know what they're called so I can pick some up?

Passive pickups? Are there such a thing as aggressive pickup s?

I use a Dvorak keyboard; put this in your sig if you do too.

I've seen em called drum silencers, drum mufflers, drum mutes.

This is the type of thing you're talking about, right?

yes, thank you

edit: anyone have any experience with these? How well do they work, and what kind of sound do you get? I dont want it to sound like an electric drum set thats turned off, i still want a little sound.

It depends what type you get. There's some stuff called "Moon Gel" that works really well. Basically, it just eliminates the echo, but if you're careful with it, you can still get a decent drum sound. Other silencers will make your drums sound like you're just beating electric pads with no volume.
