I am looking to get a flanger/phaser. I notice some have a TRIGGERING feature? What does this mean?

Does it trigger the sweep according to the strum pattern you play, or does sweep in one direction, or what?

What does TRIGGERING mean?

If you want a phaser get the Electro Harmonix Small Stone, its simple and sounds A LOT better than the Boss and Digitech ones, probably cheaper too as far as i remember.

I have no experience with Phasers, but I can agree with this man because EHX is amazing.

well, actually, I'm gonna get a Deluxe Mistress.

I was just curious what the TRIGGERING feature was. What is it?

No point spending that much, the small stone will do everything that can do phaser-wise.

No offence, just trying to save you money.

I appreciate the help ClementWave, I really do. It's just that I decided I like flanger more than phaser. But yeah, the Small Stone is a great phaser.

Also whats that hat youre wearing in your avatar (I'm assuming that's you).

Is it some sort of British Airborne Regiment or something?
