So... if for whatever reason you were tasked with making a 2 foot tall pasta tower to hold 10 kilograms of weight with 350 or less grams of pasta... how would you go about it? Like what kind of pasta would you use and what kind of design comes to mind? Thanks, I have an idea but I'm wondering what other people would think of.

... Were you abused as a child?
Like did you have pasta shoved up your ass or what?

... I'd eat the pasta.

I would use 4 pieces of the thickest tubini I could find to make a base, then a piece of lasagna across the top, like a table and repeat.

there are some good ideas here.

something gives me the impression that whole-grain might be the way to go.

Also if you can cheat a bit by filling e.g. penne with superglue then that would give you a huge advantage.

Cook the pasta, freeze it in shapes that will lock together, and then stack them and put the weight on top.
We're only strays.

I say a mix of lasagne sheets (the thick, wide ones you get, not the dried not-so-wide ones) and some kind of thick spaghetti (is there such thing?)

That's actually a brilliant idea.

Lasagna on the outside, maybe Ziti i think (w/e the tubular pasta with diagonal ends is)arranged in triangles with the ends connected. Or cut em up so you can make a square with an x in the center and lasagna on the sides.

I'd go ask the management at Pasta Hut what they built their branch out of.
